Some of the program aliases include 'Freeway Express Trial', 'Freeway Express J'. Uni transponders can be used on all Florida express lanes, including those marked SunPass Only and I-4 Express lanes, plus express lanes in the other 18. Freeway could also create flexible sites, but it is more difficult because Freeway wasn’t designed to do this and its inflow layout code is buggy. Freeway Express 6.1.2 for Mac could be downloaded from the developers website when we last checked. The main difference is that Xway prioritises flexible (inflow) CSS layout so that sites adapt to different devices (desktops, tablets, phones). Many of the keyboard shortcuts are the same. It has an Inspector panel that is similar to Freeway’s Inspector palette, and a Site panel that is similar to Freeway’s Site panel. If Apple had not abandoned the system APIs that Freeway uses, we could have continued supporting it while we developed Xway as its successor. This isn’t a situation we would have chosen. Xway’s document format is quite different from Freeway’s, but our goal is to have some form of import that can import text and resources and preserve formatting for CSS layouts.
Many Freeway sites (including all Freeway Express sites) are table-based, so there are limits to how well we will be able to import them. As long as it is a valid PNG, Freeway Express will happily place it within the box, and you will then be able to scale it, rotate it, etc. Freeway import is still on our to-do list.
